To me, therapy is a process of reconnection. Re-connecting to yourself, your heart, and to others. This holds true of both individual and couples therapy. When space is held for all parts of you (and a partner) to express themselves and be heard, things that were stuck can begin to move. It’s simple, but it’s not easy- fear, shame, and anger can make it so hard to be okay with ourselves and our lives, or to let go of past hurts. Therapy is a way to undo narratives that have been long-carried, voice our wounds, and move through the emotional waters inside us. It can be challenging, but you don’t have to do this alone.
By blending relational therapy, IFS, somatic therapy, and Gestalt, I will work with you to uncover unconscious patterns that have been controlling your life and causing suffering.
For couples, I offer a gentle but confronting approach where each person can begin to see their own contribution to the dynamic, and see the other person with more clarity.
