Ellen is a Registered Professional Counsellor and Certified Life Coach with a passion for helping people find hope, healing, and a way forward through life’s difficult and unexpected seasons.
Life doesn’t always unfold the way we imagined. Disappointment, loss, transition, relationship challenges, anxiety, burnout, and seasons of uncertainty can leave us questioning who we are and what comes next. Ellen believes that even in the messiest chapters of life, there is hope—and that our hardest seasons do not have to define our future.
With warmth, compassion, and a practical approach, Ellen provides a safe space for individuals to process what they are experiencing today while also becoming curious about what may be underneath their current pain points. Together, clients can explore experiences from childhood, the teen years, or adulthood that may still be influencing how they see themselves, relate to others, and respond to life today.
Past experiences can sometimes shape negative belief systems, protective patterns, and behaviours that once helped us cope but may no longer be serving us. By bringing greater understanding to these patterns—not with judgment, but with curiosity—clients can begin to recognize what is keeping them from moving forward and develop healthier ways of thinking, responding, and relating.
Using an integrative approach that includes Client-Centred, Cognitive Behavioural, Solution-Focused, and strengths-based practices, Ellen helps clients gain insight into their patterns, develop practical tools for navigating life’s challenges, and create meaningful and lasting change.
Her work particularly supports those navigating anxiety, low self-esteem and confidence, disappointment, life transitions, relationship challenges, and seasons of emotional overwhelm. She is passionate about helping people reconnect with who they are, rediscover hope and joy, and take courageous steps toward the life ahead.
