Ray Lee is a Registered Psychotherapist with specialized training/practice in early childhood trauma, reintegrating a fragmented sense of self, relational and emotional reconnection, sensorimotor intervention, acceptance and commitment therapy, and compassion and strength-focused pathways to discovering wholeness.
His empathic, nonjudgmental, and reflective stance coupled with insight and Mindfulness, has helped many reframe their circumstances, enabling healthy patterns of thinking and movement toward personal goals.
Ray has a mature life experience that was formed through great personal grief and loss. This has enabled him to have deep empathy for others and a passion for helping people in their journey toward restoration and peace. He has a diverse spiritual background, having grown up in a Buddhist family, was educated in Catholic settings, and later embraced Jesus. The spiritual landscape of his life has taught him much about grace, context, and resiliency. Ray is a Director at Newways Counselling For Wellbeing, a Clinical Supervisor and an Associate Member of the Canadian Association for Couple and Family Therapy.
