Are you feeling weighted down by all the stress, anxiety, and trauma in your life, while feeling like there’s no one you can talk to about it? Like what you’ve gone through in life is ignored and dismissed by others, that life seems so unfair, and some days you have have a hard time just keeping up? Perhaps you have or suspect you have ADHD and have been struggling with managing all the ways it impacts your life.
If you answered yes to any of these questions, I may be a great fit for you as a therapist as these are all areas I’m passionate about supporting others in! I can support you through first compassionately understanding your story and what you want to be different in life. We can then use a variety of counselling techniques and strategies to begin working towards healing, hope and change in your life.
I take an empathetic and holistic approach to therapy, having trained in various therapeutic modalities and areas of concern, including acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based interventions, solution-focused therapy (SFT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) Level 1 and Level 2, family violence training, suicide risk and safety planning, trauma-informed care, and many others.
Some of my personal interests include gardening, exercising, and spending time with my dogs (shiba inus!) and family.
I offer a free 15 minute consult and may be able to refer you to another provider if we are not a fit.
