Christina provides a holistic approach that incorporates both talk (cognitive) and body-based (somatic) psychotherapies. She works with individuals seeking support with issues relating to their self-esteem, identity, life transitions, codependency, attachment wounding, relationship challenges, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss. She is experienced in helping 2SLGBTQIA+ folks with gender/sexuality questioning, transitioning, coming out and their authentic expression.
Christina is a compassionate therapist who works from a person-centred, culturally inclusive, gender-affirming and feminist perspective. Her therapeutic approaches include somatic experiencing (SE), internal family systems (IFS), mindfulness practices, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and psychodynamic, strength-based, narrative and solution-focused approaches. She also has been a yoga therapist, breathwork facilitator and spiritual practitioner for many years and welcomes those who may also be on a spiritual path.
