I took a winding road to Psycho-Spiritual Care and Counselling. I started out as a training and development professional at a senior level, where I coached and mentored many in the corporate sector before completing studies in psychol-spiritual care and direction, and now in the evolving profession of psychotherapy with TCPCE. I have a Masters Degree in Ministry and Spirituality from the University of Toronto. I am also a Certified Training and Development Professional and Certified Professional Coach, and I have a Masters Diploma in Instructional Technology.
I have extensive experience in both corporate and public sectors including time spent as the Vice-Chair and Trustee with a public school board and 15 years in the aerospace, facility management, and other industries. In addition to my role at the clinic, I also work part-time as an Associate Chaplain at Markham-Stouffville Hospital providing support to patients and families experiencing loss, grief, physical and mental health challenges.
Having steered a large family of my own, I am no stranger to the weight of mental stress, anxiety, divorce, remarriage, finding the balance in a blended family, grief, as well as many other emotional stresses and experiences that life brings to us unexpectedly.
