Life can be hard, and mental health support is something that most of us need at some point. I’m here to offer that support. I work best with adults, individually and in relationships, who are motivated to heal, grow, or change but might not quite know where to start or how to get to where they want to be. I am proudly 2S.LGBTQIA+, gender-affirming, neurodiversity-affirming, BIPOC-allied, and trauma-informed. As a therapist I am person-centred, meaning I recognize the value of your experience and your innate ability to heal, even though life experiences may have made that difficult or confusing to even try to do on your own.
I take an integrative approach based on individual needs, and I use EMDR, Clinical Hypnosis, mindfulness-based approaches (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), Internal Family Systems (IFS/”Parts Work”), and more.
I work with issues including anxiety, depression, self-esteem, purpose/goals, sex/sexuality, gender issues, 2S.LGBTQIA+ topics, ADHD and Autism Spectrum, issues related to being a high achieving person, relationships, and more. I am always open to discussing issues not listed here, and can with a referral if they don’t fall under my area of competence.
