Kristen is a relaxed and relatable psychotherapist who specializes in BPD, ADHD, PMDD, and complex trauma. More specifically, Kristen supports individuals who are struggling with anxiety, panic, emotion regulation, impulse control, rejection sensitivity, burn out, interpersonal conflict, and shame, among other symptoms.
Kristen’s therapeutic style is relational and holistic. This means you can expect friendly banter, on-going collaboration, the option to get to know your therapist in a more meaningful way, and an approach that shifts with your goals instead of a textbook. Some sessions may be rooted in DBT skills, others may require more trauma-informed care.
Kristen is trained in a variety of evidence-based techniques, including CBT, DBT, ACT, MI, and IFS. Kristen also borrows insight from emotion-focused therapy, somatic experiencing and mindfulness. Looking to learn more about your patterns or a chronic condition? Kristen believes that knowledge is power; she is always willing to provide psychoeducation and help women understand their brains, bodies, and hormones better.
Kristen is well-informed when it comes to late-diagnosed neurodivergence as well as the intersection of ADHD with health conditions such as PMDD, PMOS (formally PCOS), endometriosis, and perimenopause.
