I have a passion for helping children, teens, and young adults navigate life’s challenges. My approach is rooted in psychodynamic theory, which allows me to delve deep into the unconscious mind to uncover the root causes of emotional distress. However, I also believe that creativity can be a powerful tool in therapy, which is why I incorporate art, play, and other expressive techniques into my work. Additionally, I draw on a range of other therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness, to meet the unique needs of each client.
In session I work to provide a safe and supportive space for clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviours, and develop effective coping strategies for a range of emotional difficulties. In addition, through the use of creative interventions I work with clients to develop a stronger sense or self, build self-esteem, and improve social skills.
My approach to therapy is designed to help clients develop a deeper understanding of themselves, their emotions, and their relationships. If you’re looking for a therapist who can help you, your child, or teen find their voice and build resilience, I invite you to reach out to me. Together, we can work towards a more fulfilling and meaningful life.
