Michael Towers is a Psychotherapist, practicing for the last 15 years, and is in private practice in Kelowna, BC. He is a certified supervisor with three national associations and one provincial association. He is an author, having recently published a textbook and workbook called “A Non-Pathologizing Approach To Counselling”. Apart from seeing clients he is actively supervising clinicians and practicum students. He trains clinicians on how to approach this work from a non-pathologizing perspective and he is a professor at the University of Guelph. Michael was born in the Okanagan and has been with his partner for 32 years. Together they have 6 adult children and 5 grandchildren.
