Rachelle McLean (she/they) is a full time counsellor serving survivors in the Greater Fredericton Area through her work at Sexual Violence New Brunswick. She has a Master’s in Education (Counselling) degree from the University of New Brunswick in which she graduated from in 2021. She is a registered member of both the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association and the College of Counselling Therapists of New Brunswick. Rachelle’s therapeutic approach with clients is rooted in a feminist, trauma-informed, and strength-based framework. She works to create and maintain a safe environment where clients are seen as the experts in their own experience while emphasizing client strengths, values, and achievements. SVNB’s counselling and advocacy services are free of charge to survivors 16 years+ and their support people.
