I’m Sean Hunter, MSW, RSW, a Registered Social Worker and psychotherapist providing virtual psychotherapy to clients across Ontario.
I’ve worked in hospitals, community health centres, and private practice, supporting people through stress, anxiety, burnout, grief and loss, relationship difficulties, life transitions, and other mental health concerns. I work with adults and older teens who may be feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply trying to make sense of what has been happening in their lives.
My approach to therapy is practical, grounded, and collaborative. I believe therapy works best when there is room to speak openly, without feeling judged or pressured to have everything figured out. Some people come to therapy looking for strategies and concrete tools; others need space to slow things down, understand patterns, or talk through something they have been carrying for a long time. We can shape the work around what is actually useful to you.
I offer secure virtual sessions across Ontario through **Place to Be Psychotherapy**. Sessions are 50 minutes, and a free consultation is available if you would like to talk briefly before deciding whether to book.
