Tina works at Nightingale Counselling, a high-standard clinic for adults and youth seeking meaningful progress in their lives.
Welcome! As a therapist, my practice is rooted in a person-centred framework. I approach each and every individual as having their own unique needs (and wants!) in therapy. I place great importance on empathy, alongside thoughtful and meaningful conversation. This balance can open the door to gently challenging unhelpful patterns and ways of thinking, something I believe is often crucial to the therapeutic process.
I may not be your typical “smile and nod” therapist, but I will always meet you where you are and support you in sorting through whatever you may be carrying. Together, we can navigate the highs, the lows, and everything in between… messy parts included.
Emotions are central to how I work. I view every feeling that arises as meaningful and worthy of attention. We explore emotions with curiosity – listening for their stories, their origins, and what they may be trying to tell us. I also value collaboration, warmth, and laughter in the therapy space. Sometimes, a shared laugh can be just as healing as shedding a few tears.
