I am a mother, daughter, partner, and friend in mid life. I became a therapist after decades of navigating relationships, through belonging and understanding, as well as pain and disconnect. I have experienced relationship endings, both smooth and rough. I have parented and co-parented, separated and healed. I have experienced the stormy seas of repair and change. I have come to see, even as an introvert, that relationships are central to my well being and sense of purpose.
I also believe that they offer unique opportunities for growth, including in counselling. As we work together, you can expect me to be authentic and real. I will let you know what I think and feel. I will bring curiosity, softness, and humour. I do not attempt to be neutral – I will be on your team and I will truly care about you.
