Justine Allen (she/her) is a Registered Psychotherapist and Dance/Movement Psychotherapist based in the Greater Toronto Area, and the founder of The Embodied Path. She offers integrative, trauma-informed psychotherapy that blends talk therapy, somatic modalities, expressive arts, and psycho-spiritual practices to support clients on their path toward healing, embodiment, and wholeness.
She completed her clinical training at the Toronto Institute for Relational Psychotherapy and the National Centre for Dance Therapy (NCDT), and holds additional certification as a Reiki Master Practitioner. Her approach is rooted in relational, somatic, and anti-oppressive frameworks, and she is especially attuned to issues related to parts of self, shame, and the aftermath of chronic override—when the nervous system and body shut down after prolonged high-functioning and disconnection from internal cues. This often presents as PTSD, burnout, or chronic health conditions, sometimes leading to long-term disability and calling for a more embodied therapeutic path forward.
With deep care, curiosity, and presence, Justine helps individuals tune into the wisdom of both mind and body. She is committed to creating a supportive and collaborative space for clients—especially creatives and those navigating intersecting identities—to reconnect with themselves and move toward greater regulation, embodiment, and alignment.
