We would shift these patterns through understanding thought processes, create connections with your emotions to express them safely, and get in touch with your body. Emphasis would be on emotional safety, collaboration, and nervous system regulation. We would focus on how your system learnt to survive relational pain and how to build safer ways of relate.
I hold 11 years of experience in the mental health field, with 7 of these years coming from my experience as a psychotherapist. I completed my Master’s program in counselling psychology from Yorkville University in 2019. I utilize approaches like Narrative Therapy, CBT, Solution-focused therapy, Somatic Interventions, and EMDR. I am also IFS informed and utilize parts work in my therapeutic approach.
